Vizcaya, a National Historic Landmark and public museum, is a fairytale setting for your destination wedding.

Sometimes referred to as the “Hearst Castle of the East”, this magnificent villa is the setting for many social events, weddings and galas. It was even the site for the momentous meeting of Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II during one of the Pope’s rare appearances in America.

An exquisite Italian Renaissance villa and formal gardens that is furnished with priceless European art and antiques, and grounds landscaped in Italian Baroque fashion; Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is an Italian Renaissance-style villa built in 1916 as the winter residence of industrialist James Deering. The house has 34 rooms of 15th through 19th-century antique furnishings and decorative arts. The grounds include over 10 acres of formal gardens and fountains.

Located in the north Coconut Grove area of the City of Miami, with spectacular views of Biscayne Bay, Vizcaya is conveniently located just a quarter mile off of I-95, one mile from downtown Miami, and 10 miles from south Miami Beach.
